Humans of South Auckland (HOSA) began in 2014 and was started by Jasmine Jenke.

Originally based on Brandon Stanton's Humans of New York Facebook page, HOSA has evolved from its New York origins by using portrait photography accompanied by short first person stories from the South Auckland community. The exhibition tells the story of inspiring individuals who overcome adversity, make life changes - both big and small - help others, and, in some cases, are simply being vulnerable and real about their lives.
